The Child Development and Family Council of Centre County (CDFC) is a private non-profit organization ensuring quality child care for over 40 years throughout Centre County. We are proud to offer enriching programs that offer inclusive, educational experiences for children.
Trained teachers and qualified recreational counselors provide high quality care and education to our wide array of child centered programs. Teachers have a Bachelor's Degree, Associate's degree or Child Development Associate Degree (CDA). in education, child development or a related field and/or experience. They all attend at least 24 hours of professional development each year keeping them current in the latest research, practices and philosophies in early childhood education and child care.
CDFC programs are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and are Keystone Stars designated. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, ensuring proper nutrition. Meals, snack and infant formula will be provided at our early learning programs.
Families may contract for full-time, partial full-time or part-time care. Subsidized funding and scholarships are accepted.
